Obviously I can't assess the durability of these new Monsta, Terrain Gripper tyres yet, and I havent really gotten off-road, but the road handling FEELS better than the Michelins I just replaced. There is a soft whining road noise, but I have driven well over an hour without remembering that it's there! Even with the windows open, it doesn't really compete with all the other traffic, wind, or general suburban noise. With the windows closed AND the radio on, it becomes, "What noise?" They look awesome! A relative who was in the tyre business for decades first comment was, "Wow! Those are really chunky tyres! Are you going 4WD-ing? His surprise was because my car is a shiny black Subaru Outback. Although it's AWD and has amazing clearance, it looks like a luxury SUV, not a 4WD! That's also why I opted to have the black side mounted outward instead of the side with the raised white lettering. A brilliant feature by Monsta! I recommended my brother-in-law to try them on his new Ranger, dual cab ute, because he said said he's looking for AT's like mine! He was thinking of the popular, better known brands, but then I pointed out these are half the price!
